Privacy policy

Applies to every Huddle plugin for ChatGPT and other MCP hosts, published by 42a.

What we receive

Only the arguments ChatGPT (or the browser client) sends to a game tool: the nickname you play under, the room code, and your moves (answers, votes, clues). We do not receive your chat history, your real name, your email, your location or any account information, and no game asks you to sign in.

What we keep

A game room: the nicknames at the table and the moves made in that game, so every player sees the same game. A room is deleted automatically 12 hours after its last move, and it is never used for anything but that game. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps standard operational request logs (time, URL path, status) for a limited period to run and secure the service; we do not use them to profile anyone.

What other players see

Your nickname and the moves the game reveals to everyone (a vote, a submitted answer once answers are shown). Secret information (your role, your hidden word) appears only on your own card. Don't type anything into a game you wouldn't say out loud to the table.

Third-party lookups

Some plugins look up public reference data. Only the minimal query is sent (for example a DOI, an ISBN, a country code and year, or a currency pair), never anything about you:

Children

The plugins are not directed at children under 13.
